It is important to note that decaffeinated coffee may appear different, with darker beans. However, the roast level remains as a light roast. According to the Swiss Water FAQ's, the coffee beans processed with Swiss Water start off as a darker shade of green and have a matte finish. They go through a similar roast progression as non-decaffeinated coffee, maintaining a darker color throughout the entire roast.
