Utica Coffee Roasting Co. was established in 2002 when our founder & president, Frank Elias, saw the potential in our Genesee Street location and the surrounding area. Our goal was to source and roast the world's highest quality coffee, and over time, our location transformed into a bustling cafe with the vision of our partner, Heather Elias.

If you crave all the delicious attributes of coffee but prefer to avoid the caffeine, then our Decaf coffee selections are perfect for you! We pride ourselves on using 100% hand-selected Arabica coffee, decaffeinated using the chemical-free Mountain Water Process. Unlike other roasters that use chemically processed beans, we believe in providing our customers with coffee that is free from harmful substances. Our coffee is roasted in small batches right here in Utica, New York, ensuring that you receive the freshest coffee possible.

Our decaf coffee is chemical and solvent-free, thanks to the Mountain Water Process. It also comes in a re-closable bag, allowing you to keep your coffee fresh for longer. We believe that quality coffee shouldn't be intimidating. Our aim is to create a welcoming environment where customers can enjoy a great cup of coffee without feeling overwhelmed by complex tasting notes or overly complicated menus. All our decaf selections are medium roasted, organic, mountain water processed coffees. They are made using a Mexico Organic decaf coffee as the base and roasted in small batches to ensure quality in every cup.
